A. General Information

The protection of your personal data is extremely important to us. Below, we would like to inform you about the processing of personal data in the context of using our website.

REMONDIS Medison d.o.o. acts as the single point of contact for data subjects and is responsible for the information obligations in accordance with Art. 13 and 14 GDPR, as well as for data protection impact assessments in accordance with Art. 24 and 32 GDPR.


2. Joint Responsibility Statement

REMONDIS Medison d.o.o., together with its branches and affiliated companies, operates under joint responsibility in many areas in accordance with Art. 26 GDPR. Services and deliveries are generally carried out by subsidiaries of our group that use centralized data processing.

Joint responsibility particularly applies to:

  • customer databases

  • application and recruitment management

All involved entities have agreed in advance who is responsible for which obligations under the GDPR (e.g., information duties). They are also obliged to exchange information, grant access to documentation, and enable the exercise of data subjects’ rights.


3. Categories of Data, Purpose, and Legal Basis of Processing

We process your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), and other applicable laws. The processing depends on the type of service you use.

Typically, we collect the following data:

  • First name, last name, gender

  • Email address

  • Communication data (IP address, device data)

  • Usage data (visited pages, access time, interests)

  • Address

  • Telephone number

Specific processing activities and legal bases are described in the individual business processes.


4. Data Recipients

Your data is shared with third parties only in the following cases:

  • if required by law (e.g., for tax reporting)

  • if performed by external service providers (IT, logistics, accounting, etc.) on our behalf

  • with your consent

  • for contract execution (e.g., with subcontractors or logistics partners)


5. Data Deletion and Retention Period

Data is stored only as long as necessary to maintain the business relationship, including statutory retention obligations. When no longer needed, the data is deleted unless there is a legal basis for temporary further processing.


6. Data Processing in Third Countries

Data is transferred outside the EU/EEA only if:

  • it is necessary for contract execution

  • there is a legal obligation

  • an adequate level of data protection is in place

  • or with your explicit consent

If there is no adequacy decision from the European Commission for a third country, we use agreements to ensure the protection of your rights.

You have the right to:

  • rectification (Art. 16)

  • erasure (Art. 17)

  • restriction of processing (Art. 18)

  • data portability (Art. 20)

8. Right to Object

If processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) or e) GDPR, you have the right to object at any time. This particularly applies to processing for direct marketing purposes. In such cases, we will no longer process your data unless there is a legally justified reason.

B. Individual Processing Activities

1. Access Logging

When visiting the website, the following data is temporarily recorded:

  • IP address

  • Operating system and browser version

  • File name

  • Date and time

  • Data volume

  • Referrer URL

The logs are anonymized after the session ends.


2. Contact Form and Inquiries

We use a contact form for inquiries about our products and services. We collect:

  • Gender

  • Full name

  • Email address

The purpose is to process your request. Messages are stored for up to 180 days and then deleted if no longer needed.

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR (legitimate interest), or lit. b) in case of a contractual relationship.


3. Google Web Fonts

We display fonts using Google Web Fonts hosted locally on our server. Google does not receive any personal data.

C. Cookies

We use cookies – small text files. Mainly, we use session cookies, which are deleted after closing your browser.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect the website’s functionality.

Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.

Cookies we use:

  • Fe_typo_user
    Used for administration (not relevant to users).

  • PHPSESSID
    Recognizes your browser (e.g., for language settings). Deleted when you close your browser.

  • retinaSupport
    Remembers whether you have a Retina screen. Duration: 4 weeks.

  • i18next
    Cookie for animations on the homepage. Does not store personal data.

  • cookieconsent_status
    Stores your response to the cookie notification.
